Biblical Counseling

Our Approach to Counseling

Biblical counseling is the ministry of lovingly coming alongside people, helping them understand their lives through the lens of Scripture, and pointing them to the hope and transformation found in Jesus Christ. We believe that lasting hope and genuine change are found in Jesus Christ, as His Spirit works through His Word to transform our hearts and lives. Rather than simply addressing outward behaviors or difficult circumstances, biblical counseling seeks to help people know Christ more deeply, think biblically, and respond faithfully to whatever they are facing.

Our counseling ministry is rooted in the conviction that God has given us everything we need for life and godliness through His Son and His Word (2 Timothy 3:16–17; 2 Peter 1:3). Because of this, Scripture serves as the foundation and final authority for every counseling conversation.

You can think of our approach to counseling as a compassionate, intentional form of discipleship. Our goal is to give Christ-centered, Scripture-saturated care that points people to the hope of the gospel and the transforming power of God's truth.

Who is Counseling for?

People seek biblical counseling for many different reasons, including marriage and family concerns, anxiety, fear, grief, conflict, addiction, spiritual struggles, life transitions, and many other challenges. Whatever your situation, our desire is to come alongside you with the hope and truth found in God's Word.

What to Expect

Seeking counseling can feel intimidating, but our desire is to provide a welcoming environment where you will be heard, cared for, and encouraged.

Each counseling session is centered on God's Word and includes thoughtful conversation, careful listening, practical biblical instruction, and prayer. As we seek to understand your circumstances, we will explore how the gospel speaks to the challenges you are facing and how God calls us to respond with faith, repentance, wisdom, and obedience.

Because biblical counseling is a ministry of discipleship, lasting growth often happens over time. You may receive Scripture to study, practical assignments, or other resources to help you continue applying God's truth between sessions.

Above all, our goal is not merely to help you manage life's difficulties, but to help you grow in your relationship with Christ and experience the hope and transformation that He provides.

    Intake Form

  • Step 2

Once your form has been received, our Minister of Families and Counseling will review your information and personally contact you to discuss your situation and schedule your first appointment.

  • Step 3

During your first session, we will take time to get to know you, learn more about your circumstances, answer any questions you may have, and begin considering how God's Word speaks to your situation and what faithful next steps look like.

We understand that reaching out for help can be difficult. Our prayer is that from your very first interaction, you will experience the love of Christ and know that you do not have to walk through life's struggles alone.
